Specialising in bathroom design and installation, Olympus Bathrooms is an established Thomas Crapper retail partner. The company has recently completed an eye-catching cloakroom project featuring Thomas Crapper products finished with beautifully exposed copper pipes.
This project involved a complete rip-out of the downstairs cloakroom, so there was nothing but a blank canvas. After the painting was complete (with De Nimes from Farrow and Ball), the first fixing commenced. It was then on to the tiling of the floor with a traditional lace hexagonal pattern, after which the exposed copper pipework was installed up and run around the room (all bent by hand!). Leading to a hand-made towel rail, made from soldiered copper.
Of course, the star of the show was the Bentham basin, Fontley monobloc basin mixer tap and low-level cast cistern from Thomas Crapper.
