Most Victorians were content with a pair of bath taps, however today many people want a hand spray as well. Therefore we have produced a new mixer set with the correct proportions and we have added many authentic flourishes from the period. For instance, note the china parts – made of earthenware not vitreous china; the tap ‘headworks’, matching those on our washbasin taps; the early-pattern handset and rose is an uncommon design, elegant and authentic. The graceful ‘swan neck’ hand spray cradle is an exact copy of a rare original, which brings the handset forward so that any drips fall into the bath. The Thomas Crapper Bath Shower Mixer is engineered in solid brass, with period details but incorporating modern technology in the form of ceramic-disc cartridges for ease of maintenance. It is available with either wall or deck unions and this special offer version is available in a Chrome plate finish.
