Thomas Crapper has included a “Scandi – create the look” page to its new brochure to reflect the trend for calming, modern interiors in the home. Taking inspiration from Scandinavian minimalistic interior design, the Scandi style, uses a blend of textures and soft hues to create sleek, modern schemes that feel both warm and inviting. There is usually a light or white backdrop with accessories from a neutral palette with pops of complementary colours.
Pictured (above) is the new single vanity unit in oak available with mirrored antique effect or shaker style doors, a striking black quartz countertop and the Harwood basin in white with a tall Marmor basin mixer tap. The 814-metal cast low-level cistern in mouse grey (below) creates an overall calming effect while the simple white wood grain flooring achieves a bright and uplifting finishing touch.
The Marmor tap (above) features an elegant and high-quality marble handle, which coordinates with the quartz countertops, both are available in both black or white. The tap bodiess are available in brushed brass, polished brass, chrome or nickel finishes.
